Exhibit: "Flying the Coop"

Connie Sauve, Stockton, CA displayed her 1:12th scale exhibit "Flying the Coop" at the 2014 Good Sam Show. "This project started after finding the whimsical (circa 1928) truck on eBay. I immediately thought of Ma & Pa Kettle going to the country fair. The flying rooster and hen are by Teresa Dudley, Northern Lites Miniatures."

"I made the Ma & Pa Kettle figures in the truck and also three of the wood cages in the back of the truck. I added the wool to the sheep and the feathers to the geese. I also made the barbed wire fence from scratch. It's actually very sharp, just like the real thing!"

The exhibit is 16" wide, 10" deep, and 10-1/2" tall. Photos courtesy of Connie Sauve, IGMA Fellow in Figures (Costuming).
