At the Show - Exhibits

This week's 1:12 scale exhibit is from the 2012 Good Sam Show. The "Cat Tails Quilt Shop" is by Moonyeen Moeller, Foster City, CA. It is filled to the brim with quilting fabrics, quilt books, quilt patterns, quilt notions, batting--all your mini quilting needs. Especially delightful are the cats cleverly scattered throughout in various forms--as pets, stuffed pillows, wall hangings, and more. Photos by Michael Puff and Connie Sauve, Good Sam Exhibit Chairman.

"The room box started as a kit that was designed by Cynthia Howe. The kit is part of her Classroom-in-a-Box series," Moonyeen Moeller tells us. "The dolls are one-of-a-kind and created by Sharon Cariola of Doll Mine." The scruffy man adds a bit of humor with buying the pink fabrics. Moonyeen says the question is "Is he buying the pink fabrics for himself or for his mother?" The exhibit is 27-inches wide by 17-inches deep, and 18-inches tall.

  1. This is gorgeous and I love it. Were the dolls made for this, or purchased? If purchased, from where?
