Each year, the Show brings together more than 100 U.S. and international artisans and dealers, including a number of I.G.M.A. Artisans and Fellows. They offer collectors unique, well-crafted 1-inch, 1/2-inch, and 1/4-inch scale miniatures from around the world.

Workshops scheduled for the 2012 Good Sam Show

By way of update, this year's show is scheduled for October 6th and 7th at the Doubletree Hotel San Jose, Bayshore Ballroom.  We will have 116 sales tables including 15 international dealers. New dealers include Maria Santos from Spain, Takumi Takanashi from Japan, and Natasha from New York.

There are eleven Friday workshops scheduled this year at the Hotel. The variety of the offerings is outstanding with exceptional teachers coming from all over the country. Eight workshops are in 1:12 scale, one is in 1/2" scale, and two are in 1/4" scale. The classes are held at the hotel. Class #1 - 1/4" scale. Debbie Young teaches "Trinity Circle" a Martha's Vineyard Campground Cottage. Oct 8 & 9.


Class #2 - 1" and/or 1/2" scale. Craig Roberts (The Harry Potter) teaches miniature wheel thrown pottery. Oct. 8, 9, 10.


Class #3 - 1" scale. The Guys from Texas teach "Teahouse of the Paper Moon", an authentic Japanese Tea House. Truly a masterpiece. Oct. 8, 9, 10.
